Trades Assistant

Responsibilities

The fabrication of tanks, vessels, and other components occurs across our two large workshops at the Shepparton site and Furphy Engineering are seeking to hire a number of Trades Assistants to join our team.

Working within our production team, having access to state-of-the-art equipment and machinery, a wealth of industry experience in our existing team of qualified tradespeople and an extensive range of fabrication and welding techniques.

About you:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience with hand & power tools
  • Fabrication industry experience desirable, not essential
  • A reliable and punctual approach to work
  • A willingness to learn new skills
  • Serious approach to workplace safety
